PhotoCraft: the standalone image editor
The project describes PhotoCraft as an open-source, clean-room Photoshop-style editor written in Rust, with layered PSD support. Standalone releases mean you can install it without the launcher. It remains early alpha: the project's published capabilities do not establish professional compatibility for every document. Platform README
Start with the download and browser-trial guide, follow Mac installation, Windows installation or Linux installation, and use the workflow comparison with Photoshop to decide what to test.
ArtCraft Launcher: installation and updates
The launcher selects a package for your OS and CPU, checks its SHA256, installs it and checks GitHub for updates. Its README also describes a browser catalog. Those are launcher functions; it is not the PhotoCraft editing window. Launcher README
If you only need one editor, the PhotoCraft version history and update guide explains the standalone route. For launcher problems, use its own repository rather than filing an unrelated PhotoCraft editing issue.
ArtCraft studio: AI image and video composition
The official ArtCraft homepage presents a controllable AI image and video studio with compositing, character posing and 3D scene features, and provides desktop and browser entry points. Follow that site for studio requirements and current terms; PhotoCraft's package names do not apply to the studio. ArtCraft studio
This guide does not transfer studio features or pricing to PhotoCraft. If you landed here from a similarly named mobile photo app, check its publisher and official product page; the Rust editor's repository is storytold/photocraft.
The Crafting Apps family
The PhotoCraft README lists these creative tools. This is a navigation map based on that source, not a review of every sibling app or a guarantee that they are production-ready. Platform README

ArtCraft questions
Is ArtCraft the same app as PhotoCraft?
No. PhotoCraft is the open-source Rust image editor. ArtCraft also names the team and its separate controllable AI image and video studio. The Crafting Apps are the creative app family, and ArtCraft Launcher installs and updates those apps.
Do I need ArtCraft Launcher to install PhotoCraft?
No. PhotoCraft has standalone release packages. Launcher offers an optional catalog, package selection, checksum verification and updates.
Where should I go for the ArtCraft AI studio?
Use the official ArtCraft site and its studio download or browser links. A PhotoCraft DMG, MSI or AppImage is the separate image editor. This wiki does not review the studio or its model pricing.
Is PhotoCraft Wiki an official ArtCraft site?
No. It is an independent guide with no affiliation to ArtCraft, PhotoCraft or Adobe. Official destinations below lead to the project and team websites.
